Hit-and-Run Crash on North Jackson Avenue in San Jose Leaves Pedestrian in Critical Condition

 
SAN JOSE, CA (December 14, 2021) – A pedestrian suffered critical injuries in a hit-and-run crash on North Jackson Avenue in San Jose Sunday evening.
 
The crash happened around 7:02 p.m. on December 12 just south of McKee Road. According to the San Jose Police Department, the pedestrian was walking in the area when a vehicle struck them.
 
After the crash, the involved driver fled the scene without rendering aid.
 
Paramedics arrived soon after and transported the victim to a hospital in critical condition.
 
At this time, the hit-and-run suspect remains at large. Police are still investigating the incident.
