SACRAMENTO, CA (March 25, 2024) – One pedestrian was critically injured after being hit by a car on Sampson Boulevard near Fruitridge Road in south Sacramento on Friday evening.
 
Around 7:45 p.m. on March 22, the car hit the pedestrian in unclear circumstances.
 
Sacramento Fire responded to the scene and found the pedestrian suffering from severe injuries. They took the victim to a hospital in critical condition.
 
Another person also suffered unspecified injuries. It is unknown if that person was a pedestrian or inside the vehicle involved in the crash.
 
An investigation into this crash is ongoing.
