Pedestrian Suffers Serious Injuries after Hit by Vehicle on Summerfield Road in Santa Rosa

 
SANTA ROSA, CA (March 25, 2024) – A woman was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident at Summerfield Road and Parktrail Drive in Santa Rosa on Sunday morning.
 
The accident happened around 7:13 a.m. on March 24. According to the Santa Rosa Police Department, a vehicle struck the female pedestrian who was in a crosswalk.
 
The woman, a 56-year-old Santa Rosa resident, suffered serious injuries from the crash. Paramedics rushed her to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for proper treatment.
 
As of Sunday afternoon, the victim was in critical but stable condition.
Meanwhile, the 79-year-old female driver from Santa Rosa remained on scene and cooperated with police.
 
Alcohol and drugs did not play a role in the crash, which is still under investigation.
