SACRAMENTO, CA (March 24, 2024) – A pedestrian was critically injured after being hit by a car on Fruitridge Road in Sacramento Friday afternoon on March 22.
 
The accident happened around 4:35 p.m. at Bradford Drive. According to the Sacramento Police Department, the pedestrian was walking in the area when they were struck by a car.
 
The impact caused the pedestrian significant injuries. Responding paramedics rushed them to a hospital in critical condition.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the car stayed on scene and cooperated with police.
