Two Vehicles Collide on Gosford Road in Bakersfield Badly Injuring One Person

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (March 13, 2024) – One person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident on Gosford Road in Bakersfield Tuesday morning on March 12.
 
The accident happened around 6:42 a.m. just north of White Lane. According to the Bakersfield Police Department, two vehicles collided in the northbound lanes of Gosford Road.
 
When officers arrived, they found at least one person suffering from major injuries. That person was taken to a hospital for proper treatment.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
 
When driving, be aware of other vehicles on the road. Leave plenty of space between your vehicle and those in front and behind you. Increase following distances, maintain designated speeds, and do not drink and drive.
