Fatal Two-Vehicle Accident on Highway 70 in Linda

 
LINDA, CA (MAY 4, 2021) – At least one person was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 70 Friday morning, April 30.
 
The accident happened just after 5:00 a.m. near Feather River Boulevard off-ramp. According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles collided for unknown reasons. One of them overturned in a ditch following the impact.
 
First responders confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the collision. The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
 
CHP officials issued a SigAlert in the area, blocking the southbound lanes of Highway 70 at Feather River Boulevard while they worked on the investigation.
 
At this time, it is unknown if speed or intoxication factored the accident.
