ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA (October 13, 2021) – One person was killed in a rollover accident on Redwood Road in Alameda County on Monday evening.
 
The fatal accident happened around 9:23 p.m. on October 11, near Pinehurst Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a car went about 10 feet off the roadway for unknown reasons. It then overturned down an embankment, where it landed on its roof.
 
Offices arrived and located two people trapped inside the vehicle and were unconscious.
 
Paramedics provided life-saving measures, but one of the patients died at the scene. The Alameda County Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s identity once family members are notified.
 
Meanwhile, the condition of the second patient was not immediately available.
