Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Vehicle while Crossing near Antelope Road in Sacramento County

 
SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA (March 15, 2023) – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident near Antelope Road and Daly Avenue in Sacramento County early Tuesday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 4:00 a.m. on March 14 in the Antelope area. According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray BMW was traveling westbound on Antelope Road and was unable to stop or slow before striking the pedestrian.
 
The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity was not immediately available.
 
Drugs or alcohol did not play a role in the crash, which remains under investigation.
