Early Morning Two-Vehicle Accident on 10 Freeway in Whitewater Injures 1 Driver

 
WHITEWATER, CA (March 7, 2023) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident on 10 Freeway in Whitewater early Saturday morning on March 4.
 
The accident happened around 3:00 a.m. along the westbound freeway at the Whitewater off-ramp. According to the Riverside County Fire Department, a pickup truck collided with a semi truck in unclear circumstances.
 
Responding firefighters located the pickup truck underneath the semi and the driver was trapped in the wreckage.
 
Paramedics then rushed the driver to a hospital with moderate injuries.
 
The semi truck driver was not injured.
 
No further information was immediately available. The accident is still under investigation.
