Head-On Crash on Highway 395 near Kramer Junction Leaves 2 People Dead

 
KRAMER JUCTION, CA (March 7, 2023) – Two people were killed in a head-on accident on Highway 395 Sunday afternoon on March 5.
 
The accident happened around 1:46 p.m. about 14 miles north of Kramer Junction. According to the California Highway Patrol, a silver sedan and a maroon sedan collided head-on for unknown reasons.
 
When rescue teams arrived, they located both cars with major front-end damage and one of them was fully engulfed in flames.
 
After extinguishing the flames, firefighters found two people inside the Nissan Juke, who died at the scene. The identities of the victims were not immediately available.
 
A third person was airlifted to Antelope Valley Medical Center in critical condition.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
