COACHELLA, CA (March 10, 2021) – Police reported that one person was hurt in an accident on Calhoun Street on March 9.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near the intersection of Avenue 53 at approximately 4:50 PM.
 
Based on a report, two vehicles collided in the lanes. However, officials did not yet release the details that led to the crash.
 
As a result, one of the motorists sustained injuries in the incident. Immediately, crews transported the victim to John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Indio for treatment. Fortunately, medics described the victim’s injuries as minor.
 
Responding crews had to tow both vehicles from the scene.
 
As of now, this accident on Calhoun Street is still under investigation by Coachella Police.
