Three Vehicles Involved in Accident on Highway 101 in Hopland

 
HOPLAND, CA (April 11, 2021) – Paramedics airlifted one person to the hospital following a multi-car accident on Highway 101 on April 7.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near La Franchi Road around 11:50 AM.
 
Based on a report, a white Jeep Cherokee collided with two other vehicles. However, the details that led to the pile-up were not immediately available. Consequently, one of the vehicles went down a steep embankment on the east side of the highway.
 
As a result, Hopland Fire airlifted one individual to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. In addition, they transported three other victims from the scene via a ground ambulance.
 
The Jeep and a blue vehicle ended blocking the northbound lane and one of the southbound lanes.
 
At this point, the authorities are still investigating the cause of this multi-car accident on Highway 101.
