1 Person Airlifted after Two-Vehicle Accident on Highway 395 near Sears Road in Janesville

 
JANESVILLE, CA (April 8, 2022) – Multiple people needed hospitalization following a two-vehicle accident on Highway 395 on Thursday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on April 7. A vehicle reportedly attempted to cross the highway. Then, an oncoming vehicle broadsided the first vehicle near Sears Road.
 
As per reports, multiple people involved in the collision suffered injuries. At least one care flight responded to the scene to transport an unknown number of victims to a hospital.
 
The extent of the injuries and the total number of people injured remain undisclosed.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
