16-Year-Old Bicyclist Suffers Injuries after Hit by Car at Kennedy and Park Victoria Drives

 
MILPITAS, CA (April 11, 2022) – A 16-year-old boy was injured in a bicycle accident at Kennedy Drive and Park Victoria Drive in Milpitas on Tuesday morning.
 
The accident happened just before 8:00 a.m. on April 5. According to the Milpitas Police Department, the teenager was traveling north on Kennedy Drive and was stopped at a stop sign when a driver waved him through the intersection. Another driver, in a white four-door car, was traveling east and hit the boy.
 
As a result, the teen suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Paramedics took him to an area hospital for proper treatment.
 
The driver who hit the teen remained on scene and cooperated with police.
 
Impairment is not suspected to be a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
