Late Evening Multi-Vehicle Accident on 10 Freeway in Rancho Cucamonga Kills Rider

 
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (September 20, 2022) – A motorcyclist was killed in a multi-vehicle accident on 10 Freeway in Rancho Cucamonga late Saturday evening on September 17.
 
The accident happened just before 11:30 p.m. near 4th Street. According to the CHP, a Harley-Davidson motorcycle was heading eastbound on the freeway at an unsafe speed. It then rear-ended a Lexus sedan that was then pushed into a Chevrolet sedan.
 
As a result of the crash, the motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. Authorities only identified the victim as a 41-year-old Altadena resident.
 
The drivers of the two cars were unharmed.
 
The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident. They urged anyone with further information to contact the Rancho Cucamonga area CHP officer at 909-980-3994.
