Rider Dies after Colliding with Another Vehicle at Alameda Avenue and Keystone Street

 
BURBANK, CA (August 31, 2021)Misael Audelo Gusman died in a motorcycle accident in Burbank late Saturday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 5:50 p.m. on August 28, at the intersection of Alameda Avenue and Keystone Street. According to Burbank police, the 30-year-old victim from Burbank was riding on his motorcycle when he collided with a medical transport van that was making a U-turn from westbound Alameda to eastbound Alameda. The impact trapped him underneath the vehicle.
 
Responding paramedics freed Gusman from the wreckage and rushed him to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
 
The driver of the other vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with investigators.
 
Police said drugs, alcohol, speed and illegal racing were not factors in the crash.
 
An investigation into the crash is ongoing. The Burbank Police Traffic Bureau asked anyone with further information to call them at 818-238-3100.
