Traffic Accident at Baseline Avenue and Village Parkway Kills 86-Year-Old Fontana Woman

 
FONTANA, CA (September 16, 2023) – Maria Perez was killed in a traffic accident in Fontana Monday evening on September 11.
 
The fatal accident happened around 8:32 p.m. at the intersection of Baseline Avenue and Village Parkway. According to the Fontana Police Department, at least two vehicles collided for unknown reasons.
 
When officers arrived, they found Perez unresponsive in one of the involved cars.
 
Paramedics rushed Perez to a nearby trauma center, where she succumbed to her injuries.
 
Perez was an 86-year-old Fontana resident, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
 
No additional details about the crash were immediately available. The Major Traffic Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) from the Fontana P.D. is handling the investigation.
