Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted after Accident on Laurel Canyon Boulevard in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, CA (August 17, 2021) – A man sustained serious injuries in a hit-and-run accident on Laurel Canyon Boulevard on July 3.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Magnolia Boulevard at approximately 7:15 AM.
Based on reports, the man was walking in a marked crosswalk at the time of the crash. At the same time, authorities said a dark-colored Tesla Model 3 was making a left turn onto Laurel. Then, it hit the victim and left the scene afterward.
As a result, the victim sustained major injuries in the incident.
At this point, the Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify the vehicle and the driver. Also, officers offer a reward of up to $25,000 to tipsters that result in the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
