Deadly Rollover Accident on Highway 14 in Rosamond Involves Two Pickup Trucks and Semi

 
ROSAMOND, CA (October 15, 2021) – A man was killed in a rollover accident on Highway 14 in Rosamond Thursday evening.
 
The accident happened around 6:58 p.m. on October 14, at the intersection Rosamond Boulevard. CHP officials said a white Chevrolet Colorado hit the rear of a semi truck. The impact caused the Colorado to overturn several times. A red pickup truck then ran over the wheel of the Colorado.
 
When officers arrived, they located the Colorado in the center divider with major damage. They also found a male passenger in the backseat suffering from fatal injuries and pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
The Kern County Coroner’s Office withheld the victim’s identity pending notification of his family members.
 
At this time, this fatal crash remains under investigation.
