Fatal Rollover Accident near Fowler Avenue and Elkhorn Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (March 15, 2021) – A man died Sunday evening in a rollover accident near Fowler Avenue and Elkhorn Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened just before 11:30 p.m., March 14. A Chevrolet SUV rolled off an embankment and crashed into an orchard. The driver and all of the passengers were thrown from the vehicle.
 
Several emergency personnel responded to the crash. A male occupant was found dead at the scene and three others suffered major injuries.
 
Paramedics airlifted one of the injured patients to Community Regional Medical Center in downtown Fresno.
 
Investigators say they are looking for a fifth person who may have been the driver.
 
Alcohol was found inside the car, police said. An investigation is underway.
