Adult Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Car on Norwood Avenue in Sacramento

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (February 13, 2023) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on Norwood Avenue in Sacramento Saturday morning on February 11.
 
The fatal accident happened around 5:52 a.m. at the intersection with Berthoud Street. According to the Sacramento Police Department, an adult male was walking in the area when a car struck him.
 
Responding paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital with major injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, the man was pronounced dead.
 
The driver of the involved car stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
 
At this time, it is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor. The Sacramento police is still investigating the accident.
