75-Year-Old Man Among Hurt in 3-Car Crash on Skyline Drive in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (February 13, 2023) — A 75-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries in a 3-car accident on Skyline Drive near Sychar Road Thursday.
According to San Diego police, the multi-car crash happened around 7:00 p.m. For some reason, a 29-year-old woman in a westbound 2009 Ford pickup ran a red traffic light. As a result, her car struck the side of a southbound 2020 Toyota pickup truck at the intersection. Due to the impact, the Ford entered the eastbound lanes and sideswiped a 2019 Lexus sedan, causing minor injuries to the Lexus driver.
Soon after, paramedics responded to the scene and transported the 75-year-old man driving the Toyota to a hospital with a collapsed lung and broken sternum and ribs.
