Man Dies in Garden Grove Motorcycle Crash on Chapman Avenue

 
GARDEN GROVE, CA (February 3, 2022) — A man died in a motorcycle accident on Chapman Avenue near Loraleen Street on Tuesday.
 
According to Garden Grove Police, the fatal motorcycle accident happened around 7:20 p.m. For possible speed-related reasons, a 41-year-old man lost control of his motorcycle.
 
Subsequently, he crashed his motorcycle and landed in oncoming traffic where he was struck by an oncoming vehicle.
 
Due to the nature of the crash, the rider died shortly after. Police have not released his name pending the notification of relatives.
 
At this time, officers do not suspect DUI to have played a factor in the accident. However, they are interviewing the driver involved and parsing through other outstanding details to determine the cause.
