LOS ANGELES, CA (October 31, 2023) — A man died in a bicycle accident on Imperial Highway near California Street.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operation Center, the deadly bicycle accident happened around 8:35 p.m. Sunday. For unknown reasons, a driver of an eastbound vehicle struck the 60-year-old man riding his bike southbound across the road.
 
As a result of the collision, the cyclist suffered fatal injuries. Officials have not yet released his name.
 
Following the incident, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigators.
