Passenger Dies in 2-Car Crash at Old Woman Springs Road in Lucerne Valley

 
LUCERNE VALLEY, CA (February 2, 2024) — A man died in a head-on accident at Old Woman Springs Road and Post Office Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-car crash happened around 4:12 p.m. Thursday. For an unknown reason, a black sedan occupied by two males and a red sedan occupied by a male and a female collided head-on.
 
Soon after, emergency personnel responded to the scene to find both vehicles with considerable damage. Meanwhile, a man was trapped inside the black sedan and despite efforts to free him, paramedics pronounced him dead.
 
Following the collision, paramedics took the man and woman in the red car to a trauma center for treatment of serious injuries.
 
Due to the severity of the accident, authorities closed Old Woman Springs Road for several hours to investigate. If anyone has additional information, please call the CHP.
