RIVERSIDE, CA (February 2, 2024) — A pedestrian hit by a big rig on the 91 Freeway near La Sierra Avenue died at the scene.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly pedestrian crash happened around 12:15 a.m. Thursday. For unknown reasons, a big rig driver struck a pedestrian on the 91 Freeway at La Sierra Avenue. As a result of the crash, the victim suffered fatal injuries. Officials have not released the person’s name.
