Man Hurt after Pedestrian Accident on Glen Avenue and 23rd Street

 
MERCED, CA (February 5, 2021) — A 77-year-old man suffered injuries after a pedestrian accident on Glen Avenue on Saturday, January 30.
 
Officers responded to the collision at the intersection of Glen Avenue and East 23rd Street at 7:33 a.m. Saturday.
 
The Merced Police Department said that officers discovered the victim down in the roadway. Paramedics airlifted him to an area hospital with major injuries.
 
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. Police do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.
