Multi-Car Crash Injures Two on Highway 79 in Warner Springs
WARNER SPRINGS, CA (February 7, 2021) – Two people suffered serious injuries in a multi-car crash on Highway 79 on January 31.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Sunshine Summit at approximately 8:30 PM.
Based on a report, at least six vehicles crashed in the lanes. At this point, officials have not yet released the descriptions of the involved parties.
As a result, Cal Fire San Diego said two motorists were seriously hurt. A ground ambulance transported one person to the hospital. Crews used an air ambulance to transport the other victim.
Emergency units remained at the scene while the roadway is cleared. At this point, no other details about this accident on Highway 86 are available. However, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
