Truck Flees Scene after Striking Man on Fruidridge Road in Sacramento

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (September 30, 2023) – A man was hospitalized in a hit-and-run crash on Fruitridge Road in Sacramento Thursday morning on September 28.
 
The crash happened just after 9:00 a.m. on Fruitridge Road near Franklin Boulevard. According to the Sacramento Police Department, a truck was heading east on Fruitridge when it struck the man who was crossing Franklin.
 
After striking the victim, the truck fled the scene.
 
First responders found the man in the roadway with injuries. They took him to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
At this time, the hit-and-run suspect remains at large.
