Man Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Accident on 10 Freeway near Citrus Avenue

 
FONTANA, CA (May 24, 2022) — A man died following a pedestrian crash on 10 Freeway in Fontana on Sunday, May 22.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, at around 1:41 a.m. a 22-year-old woman drove a 2013 Chevrolet eastbound on 10 Freeway, east of Citrus Avenue. Simultaneously, a male pedestrian walked within the No. 3 lane for an unknown reason. The Chevrolet then hit the pedestrian.
 
As a result of the collision, the pedestrian suffered fatal injuries. Medical responders arrived at the area and pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
Officials withheld the name of the deceased pending notification of next of loved ones.
