Head-On Crash on Rock Springs Road in Apple Valley Leaves Driver in Critical Condition

 
APPLE VALLEY, CA (November 10, 2022) – A man was critically injured in a head-on accident on Rock Springs Road in Apple Valley on Sunday night, November 6.
 
The accident happened around 6:14 p.m. near Mockingbird Avenue. According to the CHP, a red 2008 Ford Ranger veered into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a red Toyota Corolla. The Ford rolled over and landed on its roof.
 
The Apple Valley Fire Department responded to the scene and requested an airship to airlift the victim to an out-of-area trauma center. The driver of the Toyota was not injured.
 
It is unclear if the victim was the driver of the Ford or a passenger.
 
An investigation is underway.
