Two Vehicles Involved in Broadside Crash on Bayshore Boulevard in Brisbane

 
BRISBANE, CA (February 14, 2022) – Paramedics recorded major injuries sustained in a broadside crash in the 3200 block of Bayshore Boulevard on February 9.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Guadalupe Canyon Parkway at approximately 3:35 PM.
 
Based on a report, a vehicle was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed prior to the crash. Subsequently, an officer pulled out of a driveway to stop the vehicle. However, the vehicle ran a red light and broadsided another car that was making a left turn onto westbound Guadalupe Canyon Parkway.
 
As a result, the driver of the second vehicle sustained major injuries. Emergency crews transported the victim to the hospital for treatment. The occupants of the first vehicle had minor injuries.
 
In the end, police arrested the driver of that vehicle for reckless driving and child endangerment. At this point, the Brisbane Police Department is still investigating the case.
