Man Injured after Los Angeles Car Crash on Washington Boulevard and South Broadway

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (July 28, 2022) — A bizarre car accident on Washington Boulevard left a Lyft passenger injured on Wednesday, July 27.
 
According to the police, at around 3:45 p.m. they responded to the crash scene at Washington Boulevard and South Broadway. Reports said the incident involved a fire hydrant, a Lyft driver, and a rabbit.
 
The crash happened when a woman broadsided a Lyft with a passenger inside. Then it crashed into the utility box and the fire hydrant. The subsequent crash took out power to the area, which is near the Metro Blue Line train tracks.
 
Police said it’s not yet determined why the woman lost control of her car. However, she did have a rabbit in the vehicle with her.
 
The woman and the Lyft driver did not suffer any injuries. However, medics rushed the male Lyft passenger with injuries to his face to a hospital.
 
There had been no reports of any arrests made.
 
Metro train attendants were at the area to help the train get by safely.
