Jerry Bay Fatally Injured in Motorcycle Accident on Constantia Road near Highway 395

 
DOYLE, CA (July 28, 2022) — A 62-year-old man from Doyle identified as Jerry Curtis Bay died in a motorcycle crash on Friday, July 15.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, at around 8:44 p.m. Friday, officers rushed to a traffic crash. The incident involved a motorcycle and an unresponsive white male on South Constantia Road, around 1 mile west of Highway 395.
 
An officer found Bay unresponsive near a black Honda motorcycle. Doyle Fire Department personnel and deputies from the Lassen County Sheriff’s Department arrived at the area and assisted with the collision.
 
Lassen County sheriffs pronounced Bay dead at the scene. There are no reports if there are other injuries in the crash.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
