32-Year-Old Man Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Westlake Neighborhood

 
WESTLAKE, CA (January 25, 2023)Kyle Ray died in a hit-and-run crash in the Westlake neighborhood Monday evening on January 23.
 
The fatal crash happened around 8:25 p.m. at Sixth Street and Bonnie Brae Street. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a blue pickup truck with a gated bed was traveling west on Sixth Street when it ran over the victim, who stepped off the curb into an unmarked crosswalk.
 
After striking Ray, the driver fled the scene without stopping to render aid.
 
Ray suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was 32 years old. His city of residence was not immediately available.
 
Police have not released any other information and are offering a $50,000 reward for any info that leads to the arrest and conviction of the hit-and-run suspect.
