Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Motorist at Franklin and Eddy Streets near Sacred Heart High School

 
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (January 25, 2023) – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident at Franklin Street and Eddy Street in San Francisco on Monday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 5:40 a.m. on January 23, just a block off Van Ness Avenue near Sacred Heart High School. According to the San Francisco Police Department, the pedestrian was walking in the area when a vehicle struck them.
 
Responding officers provided life-saving measures, but the unidentified victim died at the scene.
 
The driver remained on scene and cooperated with police.
 
Impairment due to drugs or alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
