Jordan Bowen Hospitalized in 2-Car Accident on 8 Freeway near Forrester Road

 
IMPERIAL COUNTY, CA (February 23, 2023) — Jordan Bowen suffered major injuries in a two-car accident on the 8 Freeway near Forrester Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle crash happened around 9:00 p.m. Tuesday. For unknown reasons, 36-year-old Jordan Austin Bowen failed to stop behind an eastbound 2021 Ford box truck on the 8 Freeway. As a result, his eastbound Ford Freestar slammed into the rear of the box truck, which was attempting to slow down due to a previous collision ahead.
 
The San Ysidro man suffered major injuries and was brought to El Centro Regional Medical Center for care.
 
Reports did not say if Camila Corrales — the 51-year-old woman from El Centro driving the box truck — reported any injuries. However, an investigation ruled out DUI as the cause.
