Car Crashes into House after Laytonville Head-On Accident on Highway 101

 
LAYTONVILLE, CA (November 29, 2022) – At least two people sustained injuries in a head-on accident on Highway 101, Sunday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on November 27, at about 9:48 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a Hyundai Santa Fe collided with another vehicle.
 
The impact of the collision caused the Hyundai to leave the roadside and crash into the porch of a nearby home.
 
As per reports, an occupant in the house suffered minor injuries in the accident. At least one person in the second vehicle also sustained injuries. It is unknown if the victims were hospitalized.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
