Guillermo Morales, Mauricio Juarez Dead in Single-Car Crash near Sierra Avenue and Karen Lane

 
JURUPA VALLEY, CA (April 10, 2024) — Guillermo Morales and Mauricio Juarez died in a suspected solo-car accident near Sierra Avenue and Karen Lane.
 
According to the Riverside County Coroner’s Bureau, both men died possibly from an off-road crash around 3:00 p.m. Monday. Under unclear circumstances, the men were in one car when it crashed. Subsequently, authorities received a tip about an abandoned vehicle in a ravine near the Oak Quarry Golf Club. Soon after, arriving deputies found evidence of a crash and the unoccupied vehicle that appeared to have crashed.
 
Not far away, the two unresponsive men lay lifeless in an open area, where paramedics pronounced the pair deceased. The coroner identified the victims as 41-year-old Morales and 38-year-old Juarez, both of Fontana.
 
At this time, authorities do not have the ultimate cause. However, the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station Traffic Collision Reconstruction Team will investigate if impairment factored into the crash. If anyone has more information, please call Deputy John Shepherd at 951-955-2600.
