CHICO, CA (October 24, 2023) — Gayle Anderson suffered multiple injuries in a bicycle accident on Cohasset Road near Richardson Springs Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the bicycle crash happened around 6:16 p.m. on October 19. Under unknown circumstances, a driver of a tan Toyota Tacoma struck 55-year-old Anderson near Cohasset Road. Subsequently, the Tacoma driver veered down an embankment.
 
Moments later, paramedics responded and took Anderson to Enloe Medical Center for treatment of rib injuries and cuts to her head.
 
At the time of the report, traffic investigators did not say the cause of the accident or if the driver suffered an injury. However, if anyone has additional information on this crash, please call the CHP.
