Pedestrian Injured After Driver Hits Cars, Building on 8th Street in San Francisco

 
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (October 24, 2023) — A pedestrian was hit and injured by a car that crashed into a building on 8th Street and Townsend Street on Friday.
 
According to the San Francisco Police Department, the accident occurred around 4:52 p.m. For unknown reasons, a truck slammed into four vehicles, three of which were occupied. Subsequently, the truck hit a pedestrian before crashing into Roche Bobois furniture store.
 
Moments later, the San Francisco Fire Department responded and brought the pedestrian and the truck driver to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Reports said two people in one of the occupied cars suffered non-life-threatening wounds and received treatment at the scene.
 
At the time of the report, officers did not say what led to the accident, which left glass and debris littering the area. However, we will update this report once we receive more information.
