Sedan Hits Bicyclist on Allen Road in Northwest Bakersfield

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (April 4, 2023) – A bicyclist was struck by a vehicle on Allen Road in northwest Bakersfield Friday afternoon on March 31.
 
The crash happened around 2:00 p.m. just north of Rosedale Highway. According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Acura sedan hit the bicyclist who was riding in the area.
 
The crash blocked all southbound lanes of Allen Road while crews cleared the wreckage.
 
At this time, the condition of the bicyclist was not immediately known. It is also unclear if the driver of the sedan stayed after the crash.
 
CHP officials are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
