At Least One Killed in Car Accident on 680 Freeway

 
PLEASANTON, CA (September 28, 2021) — At least one person died in a car crash on the 680 Freeway near Sunol Boulevard Sunday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly incident happened around 10:45 a.m. For unknown reasons, a driver in an unknown make and model veered off the 680 Freeway on the right-hand side. Subsequently, the car crashed and resulted in at least one fatality.
 
At this time, authorities have not confirmed the circumstances of the crash and if other cars were involved. However, anyone who has seen this accident should contact the CHP to help with the investigation.
