Man Dies in Sonoma Motorcycle Accident on Highway 1
SONOMA, CA (September 28, 2021) — A man died in a motorcycle crash on Highway 1 near Fort Ross Sunday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal accident happened at approximately 3:00 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a man lost control of his motorcycle while heading southbound. Subsequently, he slammed into a guardrail on a curve and was thrown from his bike.
Soon after, CHP responded and found him lying on the road where he died shortly thereafter.
At this time, authorities have not released the victim’s name or the cause of the accident. However, anyone with more information on this crash should contact the Santa Rosa CHP Office at 707-588-1400.
