Inderkum High School Basketball Player Anthony Williams Dead in Rocklin Pedestrian Accident

 
ROCKLIN, CA (March 21, 2022) – Authorities identified Inderkum High School student and basketball player Anthony Williams as the pedestrian killed in an accident on Lonetree Boulevard on Saturday evening.
 
According to the Rocklin Police Department, the incident happened on March 19 at about 8:30 p.m. Due to unknown circumstances, a vehicle hit Williams near the area of Lonetree Boulevard and Adams Drive.
 
Emergency crews rushed Williams to Sutter Roseville Medical Center, where he later died.
 
As per reports, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
 
Responders temporarily closed the eastbound lanes of Lonetree Boulevard to make way for an investigation.
 
Rocklin police continue to investigate the cause of the fatal accident.
