EL CAJON (March 21, 2022) — Three people were hurt in a traffic accident on Douglas Avenue at around 7:25 a.m. on Saturday, February 26.
 
According to Lieutenant Randy Soulard with the El Cajon Police department, the crash happened at the intersection of Douglas Avenue and Magnolia Avenue. A driver ran a red light and caused the collision.
 
Lt. Soulard said medics rushed three persons to a local hospital with minor injuries.
 
Officials do not believe drugs or alcohol are factors in the incident.
 
Both drivers remained on the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
