BAKERSFIELD, CA (July 26, 2021) — An accident at Chester Avenue and Manor Street occurred Monday afternoon in North Bakersfield.
 
Based on reports from the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 2:40 p.m. For unknown reasons, an ambulance collided with a pickup truck at North Chester Avenue and Manor Street.
 
The crash left the ambulance with damage to the front end. The pickup truck, meanwhile, damaged its left rear portion.
 
It was not immediately clear how the collision happened. There was also no information available as to the number of people involved in the incident. However, reports indicated that there were no injuries sustained in the crash.
 
The cause and factors surrounding the crash are under investigation.
