Albert Lepper Killed in Head-On Crash on Highway 46 near Corcoran Road

 
BUTTONWILLOW, CA (May 2, 2022) — Albert Lepper died in a head-on accident on Highway 46 near Corcoran Road two weeks ago.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal two-vehicle accident happened on April 21. For unknown reasons, 64-year-old Albert Lee Lepper allowed his eastbound vehicle to swerve into the westbound lane. Subsequently, his vehicle collided with a crane vehicle traveling westbound.
 
Due to the nature of the crash, Lepper, of Benicia, suffered fatal injuries while the crane driver suffered only minor abrasions on his hands and arms.
 
At this time, investigators have yet to rule out DUI as a possible reason for the accident. Additionally, they are looking into whether Lepper had experienced a medical issue at the time. If anyone has more information, please call the CHP.
