COALINGA, CA (May 2, 2022) — Felix Perez suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Highway 33 near Sutter Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the hit-and-run pedestrian crash happened around 2:45 a.m. on Friday. For unknown reasons, a driver in what officers described as a dark gray vehicle struck 49-year-old Perez. Soon after, paramedics and CHP officers arrived at the scene to assess the situation.
 
Due to his injuries, paramedics brought Perez to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno for treatment.
