80-Year-Old Man Killed in San Francisco Pedestrian Crash at Phelps Street

 
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (December 1, 2021) — An 80-year-old man died in a pedestrian accident at Phelps Street and Fairfax Avenue on Monday morning.
 
According to authorities, the fatal pedestrian crash happened around 5:51 a.m. For unknown reasons, a 24-year-old man struck the 80-year-old victim in the Bayview District. As a result of the crash, the elder suffered fatal injuries.
 
Following the accident, San Francisco Police Department officials responded and interviewed the driver, who they said was not impaired by alcohol or drugs.
